DESCRIPTION: From ICMS record “HEAVY TUBULAR METAL W/ 3 DIVISIONS IN "V" SHAPE. 2 RUBBER FEET IN REAR. REAR PORTION IS 20.5 CM HIGH.”
CHIR 5068 is a dish rack constructed of seven components of bent, iron rods soldered together and plated with a white metal, possibly aluminum. There are two white rubber feet attached to the back legs of the object.

Treatment Procedure:
1. Surface was vacuumed using a micro-attachment brush.
2. Removed the catalog number using swabs of acetone.
3. Reduced dirt and grim on metal surfaces with swabs of acetone.
4. Reduced corrosion with a stiff bristle brush and swabs of acetone.
5. Applied a micro-crystalline wax coating with Naptha solvent to the metal surfaces.
6. Reapplied catalog number printed on archival paper and adhered with Rhoplex.
